INTRODUCTION

Hi, my name is Precious Obeahon, and I'm a mental health blogger who is passionate about speaking up about lived experiences related to mental health, including suicide and childhood trauma. I created this blog as a space to share my journey, offer support and resources, and bring awareness to mental health issues that are often stigmatized and overlooked.

I know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate mental health challenges, and how isolating it can feel. I struggled with depression and anxiety for years, and it wasn't until I began opening up to others and seeking support that I was able to make real progress in my healing journey.

One of the most challenging aspects of mental health is dealing with childhood trauma. Childhood experiences can have a profound impact on our mental health as adults, and it's important that we give ourselves permission to address and work through these experiences. I believe that by sharing our stories, we can help break down the stigma and encourage others to seek help and support.

Another issue that I feel passionate about is suicide prevention. Suicide is a leading cause of death worldwide, and it's important that we all do our part to create a more supportive and compassionate society. I believe that by speaking openly about our own struggles and offering support and resources, we can help prevent suicide and make a positive impact in our communities.

On my blog, you'll find a mix of personal stories, informative articles, and resources related to mental health, including topics such as self-care practices, therapy, and coping mechanisms. I'll be posting new content every Monday, so be sure to check back regularly!

I also believe that music can be a powerful tool for self-care, and I'll be exploring this topic on my blog as well. From uplifting playlists to discussions of the ways in which music can help us process difficult emotions, I hope to offer a fresh perspective on the role that music can play in our mental health journeys.

Additionally, I recognize the impact of workplace anxiety on our mental health. Many individuals experience stress, burnout, and anxiety related to their jobs, which can greatly impact their overall well-being. It's important to address and prioritize our mental health in the workplace, and I'll be sharing resources and tips on how to manage work-related stress on my blog.

Together, let's create a space where we can openly discuss mental health and support each other in our journeys towards healing and recovery. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to connecting with you all.

I leave you with this song as today is Mother's Day Daughter's by John Mayer, the song was released in 2003 and John Mayer sings about the role Mothers and Fathers play in the lives of their children, my takeaway from the song is to be kind to our children because as parents we set the pace for later interactions with the opposite sex later in life. i hope you enjoy listening to it.
